Have you ever been hungry like a lion?  I just got done eating because I was so hungry when I got home from the club.  My body was craving food, so I ate.   What did I choose – a protein bar.  Good choice since it is 3:00 and it’s not time for a main meal.  Will I meet my fitness and health goals?  Yes.  Am I full and satisfied?  Yes.  Good job, Lynette.

Now let’s talk about your workout.  Are you hungry like a lion, ready to attack your workouts when you come to the gym?  Or do you just snack when you get there?  When you take a Body Pump class and don’t challenge yourself with heavier weights, or when you set the treadmill on a 3.5 speed and watch your favorite TV show for 1 hour, do you feel like you got what you came for?  And…are you one step closer to meeting your fitness goals?

When you come to the gym you need to be hungry!  That means rested, something light in your stomach, and motivated by the workout you’ve selected, one that might even be fun!      

Let’s be wise in what we eat; and let’s attack our workouts like a hungry lion this week!  You’re far better off if you come 2-3 times this week and attack the task than if you come 6 days a week and just snack.
