Are you Sitting on the Sidelines?

Doesn’t it seem odd that on Super Bowl Sunday most Americans get all excited about watching and cheering for the best athletes in the world yet at the same time sit in their living rooms consuming thousands of calories and doing everything but physical activity?

How did the Cardinals and the Steelers get to the Super Bowl? What makes a great football player? Are you like them?

First, each player loves the game of football, they have a drive to be excellent at what they do, they are committed to reaching their goals, they eat the proper foods to help their body perform to its best potential, they work hard in the gym, they work with a group of people who care for each other, they have a great coaching staff, they have a plan of attack, a cheering section, and finally, it’s their job.

Are you like them? Yeah, in a lot of ways you are. Your sport of choice is YOU. I hope you love who you are. So now the question becomes "Do I love myself enough to take care of me and how shall I do it?"

Is it your job to be fit? Yes, for the rest of your life . . . so now ask yourself, "Are you just going to sit on the sidelines or get in the game?"

Enjoy the game on Sunday and get back to work on Monday - we're cheering for you!

PS: This is our pep rally if you didn't catch it!
